Please find enclosed a copy of Directorate letter No.
10-32/2013-BD & MD regarding delivery of pending Business/ Express ‘COD’
parcels at POs.
It is directed to clear the COD articles which were
kept pending for the reasons noted below, by delivering the articles and
remitting ythe COD amount through service MO without deducting any charge
directly to the PM of booking office as instructed in Dte. Letter.
a. Non
receipt of electronic data.
b. The
amount noted in the COD article differs with the electronic data received.
The articles may be delivered as per the instructions
circulated herewith. A register in the following format should be maintained
for the articles which are dealt as per these instructions.
